HeyRunning Sessions


Hey! Here’s a run through of our current weekly sessions! Session times and locations may vary so always check the latest scheduleWeibo or wechat group info before each run so that you’re up to speed on everything that’s going on!

Also, if you have more than you can run with then we have a bag drop at each of our sessions so that you can safely store your belongings! We also provide water at all sessions to keep you refreshed and hydrated!

All sessions are coached by HeyRunning Level 1-4 certified Coaches and are supported by HeyRunning Pacers who are on hand for pacing support, tips, encouragement and to answer any questions you may have!

What: Every Monday we run a combination of 6-8k including fartlek, interval or stair training – anybody can do it!

Where: Drop your bags at the British School of Beijing (Sanlitun campus) and we’ll run from there! Plus, we return in time so that you can do some EXTRA strength work during the Heyrobics Intensive session (optional)!

When: 19.00 – 20.00



What: Wednesday means Speed, but at your own pace –anybody can do it! Park Runs typically focus on shorter Speed intervals where the focus is on quality training rather than distance or volume. Often Park Runs combine elements of Strength & Hill (who knew there were hills in Chaoyang Park) for extra variety and to make us more powerful runners!

Where: Chaoyang Park; Bag Drop at MOKA Bros in Solana

When: 19.00 – 20.00

What: The focus for Sunday sessions is Stamina, either Long Slow Distance (LSD) or Long Slow Distance + Tempo where we include periods of running at close to or faster than our target race pace. HeyRunning Coaches run at a range of paces from 4 minutes per/km up to 7 minutes per/km so that you have somebody to run with!

Where: The majority of runs take place inside Chaoyang Park (Location 3) although locations vary!

When: 10.00 – 11.30 (times vary depending on location)
